CRANTOCK  - A wonderful traditional village, footpaths everywhere


HOLYWELL BAY  - Extensive sands and dunes; excellent leisure park


PERRANPORTH  - Two miles of sands, shops, gardens, tennis. putting. restaurants.


ST AGNES  - "Poldark" village with shops. walks on the beacon, "stippy stappy" cottages, small beach. leisure park and miniature world at Goonhavern


TRURO - Cathedral City, county museum, good shopping areas, parks, river trips, restaurants, Killiow Country Park.


ACROSS THE COUNTY -SHORT DRIVE  - Roseland Peninsula; St Just-in-Roseland Church; many small coves and beaches; King Harry Ferry; St Mawes. and country lanes by the score.

 

NORTH CORNWALL - COAST ROAD FROM NEWQUAY -  Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth. both good beaches; Bedruthan Steps, Porthcothan. Treyarnon. Constantine, Harlyn, Trevone, and Padstow, excellent beaches, old Harbour Town, and truly the Betjeman Country.
